MoreKatyńMonday saw the Presidents of Poland and Russia take part in the commemoration ceremonies held in connection with the anniversary of the massacre of Polish officers by the NKVD in Katyń. The two Presidents laid wreaths in the Polish and in the Russian sections of the cemetery.

President Bronisław Komorowski accompanied by a delegation came on Monday morning to Moscow, from where he set off to Smoleńsk and Katyń in order to commemorate with the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev the victims of Smolensk plane crash and the Katyń massacre. The president is accompanied by the Head of the NSB, Minister Stanisław Koziej.
