The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda has formally requested that NATO leaders discuss raising defense spending to 3 percent of GDP at the upcoming summit in The Hague.

President Andrzej Duda has said that Ukraine’s security can be guaranteed only by the North Atlantic Alliance.

President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday the whole world will no longer see Poland as a Russian zone of influence, as he joined other Polish, NATO, and US senior officials at the opening of the US anti–ballistic missile base in northern Poland.

President Andrzej Duda has said that no one from the outside can prevent Ukraine from joining NATO as such a decision is taken by alliance members and Ukrainians.
