We, the leaders of the Bucharest Nine and the Nordic Allies, met today in Bucharest. We welcome the participation of the NATO Secretary General, as well as the President of Ukraine. We also welcome the participation of the United States of America, as an observer.

The Bucharest Nine Summit was in session in the Romanian capital today, co–hosted by President Karol Nawrocki and President Nicușor Dan. Discussions were held to prepare and jointly develop a common position ahead of the forthcoming NATO Summit in Ankara. The participants have adopted a joint declaration. The next B9 meeting is due to take place in 2027 in Warsaw. The President was accompanied during his visit to Romania by Head of the Bureau of National Security, Bartosz Grodecki.

President: In less than two months, Allied leaders will gather at the NATO Summit in Ankara. That summit must send an unmistakable message: NATO is united, NATO is ready, and NATO will defend every inch of Allied territory.

The President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki has appointed Bartosz Grodecki — a diplomat, civil servant, and security expert with nearly 20 years of experience in public service — as Secretary of State at the National Security Bureau to serve as the Bureau's Head.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki, together with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, observed joint operations of troops from Poland, Lithuania, the United States, and Portugal near the town of Kamień (Lithuanian name Akmenynai) in Lithuania as part of the “Brave Griffin 26–II” military exercises.

President Karol Nawrocki paid a visit to the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics facility in Texas, which specializes in the production of fifth–generation F–35 multi–role fighter jets, the aircraft which will be deployed in the 32nd Tactical Air Base in Łask as early as mid–year.

President of Poland Karol Nawrocki has submitted to the Sejm a bill of law on Polish Defence Investments Fund. Presidential initiative to establish the Fund comes as an implementation of a „Polish SAFE 0%” concept.
