Central celebration of the Independence Day took place on Friday, November 11, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Thursday, 10 November 2011. Minister Koziej met with the security advisor of the President of Estonia, Mr. Andres Vosman, who was accompanied by the defence attaché Colonel Albert Helme. The conversation concerned the regional security interests in the context of the future NATO summit in Chicago and the ways to strengthen Common Security and Defence Policy.

Thursday, 27 October 2011. President Komorowski received Secretary of National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Raisa Bohatyriova. The meeting was requested by the Ukrainian party.

Thursday, 27 October. Invited by the head of the National Security Bureau Minister Koziej, secretary Raisa Bohatyriova paid official visit to Poland. During her stay in Poland, Mrs. Bohatyriova also met with the President of Poland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Waldemar Pawlak as well as Minister of National Defence Tomasz Siemioniak.

On 24-25 October 2011 the Presidential Palace held a conference "Rethinking the European Security Strategy" dedicated to discussing amendment of the European Security Strategy. The conference was organised by the Institute of International Relations of the University of Warsaw and the Foundation for Strategic Research, French think-tank. The National Security Bureau took the conference under its wing.

Invited by the Secretary of the Security Council Artur Bagdasarian, Head of the NSB paid two day (17-18 October) visit to the Republic of Armenia. During the first day minister Koziej met with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian and the Deputy Minister of Defence Ara Nazarian.

13 October 2011. The NSB held conferences with the Security Council of the Russian Federation at the deputy secretary level.

Friday, 30 September 2011. Deputy Head of the NSB, Dr. Zdzisław Lachowski met with Georgian Deputy Minister of Defence, Nodar Charsziladze.

Wednesday, 28 September 2011. The Deputy Head of the NSB Mr. Zdzisław Lachowski held a meeting with the Chief of Defence of Norway - General Harald Sunde.

Wednesday, 21 September 2011. 2nd International Meeting of High Representatives Responsible for the Security has started in Yekaterinburg and is attended by Minister Koziej. The host of the conference is the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev.
