Wednesday, 2 May 2012. Head of the National Security Bureau Stanisław Koziej met with the delegation of the US Department of Defense headed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia Celeste A. Wallander, who was on her way to Moscow to participate in conference on the missile defense, scheduled to take place on 3-4 May.

On Friday 27 April, the NSB’s delegation headed by the Director of the Department of Strategic Analyses Kazimierz Sikorski participated in Baku in consultations with the representatives of the administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On 25-26 April 2012, invited by the Secretary of the National Security Council Giorgi Bokeria, the Head of the National Security Bureau visited Georgia accompanied by Polish delegation.

Presidents Bronisław Komorowski, Andris Berzins and Toomas Ilves met in Warsaw Tuesday to discuss issues to be debated at the NATO summit in May. They came out in favour of strengthening the Alliance and completing its military mission by the end of Afghanistan in 2014, as planned.

Poland will never shun co-responsibility for security in our region of Europe, said President Bronislaw Komorowski addressing Polish soldiers stationed in Kosovo on Monday. President was accompanied by the Head of the National Security Bureau.

Thursday, 29 March 2012. Head of the NSB Stanisław Koziej met with Mr. Michael Danby, chairman of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade of the Australian House of Representatives, accompanied by the Ambassador of Australia to Poland Jean Dunn. It was the first visit of the representative of Australia in the NSB.

Tuesday, 20 March 2012. At the request of Ambassador Marc Grosmman – Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan a meeting in the Presidential Palace took place. The guest was accompanied by the US Ambassador to Poland Lee Feinstein.

The National Security Council (RBN) met Thursday to discuss the NATO summit in Chicago in May and Afghanistan strategy. President Bronisław Komorowski said later Poland will urge timely conclusion of ISAF mission in 2014, as agreed in Lisbon in November, 2010.

Tuesday, 13 March 2012. The Head of the NSB met with the representatives of Iraqi military universities and training centers who came to visit Poland invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Thursday, 8 March 2012. The National Security Bureau hosted Mr. Enders Wimbush, Senior Director for Foreign Policy and Civil Society in German Marshall Fund. Mr. Wimbush met with the Deputy Head of the NSB Zdzisław Lachowski and the bureau’s analysts.
