The year 2011 was good for Poland. A year full of challenges we were able to stand up to, President Bronisław Komorowski said on Wednesday at a meeting with the Diplomatic Corps. President Komorowski especially praised Poland positive economic result for last year.

Wednesday, 11 January 2011. Minister Koziej met with representatives of the United States Congress – senator Mark Kirk and member of the House of Representatives Mike Quigley.

Thursday, 5 January 2012. Minister Koziej met with Deputy Chief of Staff, International Security Force and U.S. Forces in Afghanistan, major-general John W. Nicholson and Ambassador Lee Feinstein.

Tuesday, 27 December 2011. President Bronisław Komorowski extended the mission of the Polish Military Contingent in Kosovo Republic and former Jugoslav Republic of Macedonia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Monday, 19 December 2011. Minister Koziej invited the Swidish Ambassador to Poland Staffan Herrström.

Friday, 16 December 2011. Deputy head of the NSB Zdzisław Lachowski met with the representatives of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations: Thomas Moore and Marik String.

Friday, 9 December 2011. Minister Koziej played host to Admiral William H. McRaven, Commander of the US Special Operations Command.

Thursday, 8 December 2011. Minister Koziej met with Romanian President’s Advisor on the Security Issues, Mr. Iulian Fota. It was part of 2-days visit to Poland completed upon invitation of the Head of the NSB.

Thursday, 1 December 2011. The component of Military Police soldiers, a part of the 9th shift of the Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan and participating soldiers representing the army, the navy and the special forces as well as Polish Armed Forces Support Inspectorate were welcomed in Warsaw.
