On the 15 February 2013, Head of BBN Minister Stanisław Koziej met with ambassador of the United States to Poland, Stephen D. Mull.

On 7 February 2013 President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski signed the decision to use the Polish Military Contingent within the EU Training Mission in the Republic of Mali from 16 February through 31 December 2013. Poland will send a contingent of up to 20 soldiers, who will help train logisticians, engineers and special forces soldiers of the Malian Armed Forces.

On 31 January 2013, Director of the Supreme Authority over the Armed Forces Department, Dr. Lech Konopka and Director of the Strategic Analyses Department, Dr. Kazimierz Sikorski met with representatives from the French Ministry of Defence. The subject of the meeting was bilateral and multilateral security and defense cooperation in Europe, including that in the area of defense industry.

12–13 January 2013, representatives of the Visegrad Group states discussed possibilities of the EU's Common Security and Defence Policy development. The President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, participated in the closing session of the meeting. He said that European security policy has a special place in the Polish international agenda for 2013.

Poland and France will continue to develop cooperation - bilateral and within the Weimar Triangle - on European security. On 9 January 2013 members of the lower house of French Parliament, Yves Fromion and Joaquim Puey, visited BBN.

On 17 December 2012, diplomats from 29 countries of the European Union, NATO and Poland’s neighboring states, invited by the Head of BBN, Minister Stanisław Koziej, discussed the conclusions and recommendations of the National Security Strategic Review (NSSR). The aim of the presentation of the NSSR results was to deepen mutual understanding and trust – the elements essential for strengthening the regional and global security.

On the 10 December, the new ambassador of the United States to Poland, Stephen D. Mull, visited the National Security Bureau and met with the Head of BBN, Minister Stanisław Koziej. The main topic of the discussion was cooperation in the area of ​​security - bilateral relations and within NATO.

On the 28-29 October, Tsagaandari Enkhtuvshin, Secretary of the National Security Council of Mongolia, visited Poland at the invitation of the Head of BBN, Minister Stanisław Koziej.

Friday, 26th October 2012. Presidential Palace hosted a conference The Global Threats are the Development Barriers organized under honorary patronage of the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski by the Prognosis Committee “Poland 2000 Plus” by the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the National Security Bureau.

Friday, 19 October 2012. Head of BBN, minister Stanisław Koziej launched a cooperation between the secretariats of the security councils and security policy advisors of the Visegrad Group states.
