Friday, 12 October 2012. President Bronisław Komorowski signed a decision on extending participation of Polish Military Contingent (PKW) in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Wednesday, 10 October 2012. BBN hosted a meeting with a study group of newly appointed generals and their civil counterparts, who participate in CAPSTONE course. The visit aimed at familiarizing National Defense fellows with BBN’s structure and tasks as well as evaluations of global and regional conditions of the national security, in particular Polish defense policy priorities.

President Bronisław Komorowski during a Tuesday meeting with Secretary General of Turkey's National Security Council Muammer Turker supported moves designed to consolidate bilateral cooperation in security matters.

Wednesday, 26 September 2012. The Head of the National Security Bureau Stanisław Koziej met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Lt. Gen. Sher Mohammad Karimi.

Poland's President Bronislaw Komorowski met in New York his Ukrainiain and Afghan counterparts Viktor Yanukovych and Hamid Karzai. In New York the Polish president attended the 67th session of the UN General Assembly.

Wednesday, 21 September 2012. The Presidential Palace in Warsaw hosted the first seminar of the National Security Bureau (BBN) and the Institute of Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN). The meeting was opened by the Head of BBN, Stanisław Koziej, and the Ambassador of France to Poland, Pierre Buhler. The IHEDN delegation was headed by the director of the Institute gen. Jean-Marc Duquesne.

Polish and Ukrainian Presidents Bronisław Komorowski and Viktor Yanukovych took part in the opening of the cemetery in Bykivnia, Ukraine on Friday. Head of the National Security Bureau Stanisław Koziej also took part in the event.

Friday, 21 September 2012. Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau Dr. Zdzisław Lachowski met with the United States Secretary of the Navy, Ray Mabus.
