The EU and Nato should remain united in their resolve to impose 'serious sanctions' on Russia, Andrzej Duda, the Polish president, has said. International tensions caused by Russia’s build–up of troops on the Ukrainian border and the resulting fears of a possible invasion are a test for the whole Western community, President Andrzej Duda, has said.

President Andrzej Duda told a Friday sitting of the National Security Council (RBN) that the Russia–Ukraine crisis poses no direct military threats to Poland.
