Polish president and Crown Prince of Norway discuss security cooperation

Polish President Andrzej Duda and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway have talked about economic relations and cooperation in the area of security and energy, including gas and renewable energy sources, the presidential office has reported.

On Wednesday, the second day of his visit to Poland, Crown Prince Haakon was in Warsaw where he met with Duda at the Presidential Palace. Later he visited the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

After a guided tour of the museum he met with employees of the Ukrainian Home, an organisation that helps integrate and support Ukrainians and other foreigners in Poland.

The representatives of the organisation thanked Crown Prince Haakon for Norway's support for Ukraine and Ukrainians.

Earlier on Wednesday, Crown Prince Haakon met with President Andrzej Duda and Deputy Prime Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak–Kamysz and visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He also participated in the signing of agreements as part of 4th edition of EEA and Norway Grants for 2021–2028.
