Joint Statement of the Presidents of the Visegrad countries
We, the Presidents of the countries of the Visegrad Group, gathered in Budapest today, express our full solidarity with the EU and NATO countries who face hybrid attacks at their borders with Belarus.
The actions of the Belarusian regime are unacceptable in normal relations between countries.
We strongly protest against the cynical abuse of people and the violation of their dignity and their basic human rights.
We emphasize that the authorities of Belarus bear full responsibility for the life and health of the people they have brought to their country and for resolving their humanitarian situation,
The Presidents of Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia also declare their countries' readiness to provide Poland, Lithuania and Latvia with all necessary assistance and support to protect the external borders of NATO and the EU.
