I was deeply concerned to learn about the brutal and shocking assault on the Skripal family, in which also a British police officer suffered harm.
On behalf of all Polish people and of the Polish authorities, I would like to express my solidarity with the actions taken by the Government of Prime Minister Theresa May. The use of chemical weapons on the territory of our strategic ally cannot be left unanswered.
Perpetrators should be identified and punished. We will work closely with the United Kingdom on this matter within the UN Security Council, NATO, EU, and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
