On cooperation with Georgia in BBN

On the 27th of February, Minister Paweł Soloch received in BBN Mr. David Rakviashvili, Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia. Guest was accompanied by Mr. Ilia Darchiashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Poland.

Discussion focused mostly on bilateral relations, international cooperation with Georgia and topics related to security policy. Head of BBN presented, inter alia, the current state of preparations towards the NATO Summit in Brussels. He had also reminded that Poland constantly is and will be a firm supporter of European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Georgia.

After the meeting in BBN, talks were continued in the Presidential Palace. Head of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic Poland, Minister Krzysztof Szczerski, and the Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia,  Mr. Girogi Abashishvili, also participated in them.

It was the second visit of Mr. D. Rakviashvili to BBN. Secretary of the Georgian NSC held his previous visit in March, 2017.
