Officer promotion ceremony in Deblin „Fledgeling Eagles School”

On Friday 27 November Deblin held a promotion ceremony of the graduates of the Polish Air Force Academy.

Among the ceremony participants were the Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau, Mr. Witold Waszczykowski representing Lech Kaczyński, President of the Republic of Poland and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Franciszek Gagar, Commander of the Air Forces, Lieutenant General Pilot Andrzej Blasik, General Director of the Ministry of the National Defence, Mr. Jacek Olbrycht and the families of the promoted graduates.  

 
During the ceremony the Deputy Head of the NSB read the President’s letter addressed at this year’s graduates of the academy. Witold Waszczykowski emphasised that graduating from the famous Deblin „Fledgeling Eagles School” places the officers among the elite of the Polish Army, makes them fine professionals possessing specialised knowledge and the highest class skills. He also thanked the Commander-Chancellor, research personnel and teaching staff and all employees of the PAFA for their efforts put into educating and training another class of officers-pilots, navigators and air traffic controllers.
