President, PM, ministers discussed Trump visit - presidential aide

President Andrzej Duda's Wednesday talks with PM Beata Szydlo and her ministers focused on debate themes during US President Donald Trump's July visit in Warsaw, presidential aide Krzysztof Szczerski informed PAP Wednesday. The meeting took place in National Security Bureau.

"During the meeting we discussed what we wanted to speak about during President Trump's visit in Poland in the areas of security, energy and political cooperation, especially in view of Poland's approaching non-standing membership on the UN Security Council", Szczerski said.

Besides Duda and Szydlo, the meeting in the seat of Poland's National Security Bureau (BBN) was attended by deputy PM and Development and Finance Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz, BBN head Pawel Soloch and government commissioner for strategic energy infrastructure Piotr Naimski.

President Trump will visit Warsaw on July 5 and 6.
