Gift from the President of the Republic of Poland
An album entitled „…For freedom by tombstones is measured…” is a gift from the President of the Republic of Poland to all Poles on the occasion of the Independence Day.
One hour recording includes 19 well known patriotic and military songs, among others: „Legiony”, „O mój rozmarynie”, „Przybyli ułani”, „Ułani, ułani”, „Rozkwitały pąki białych róż”, „Czerwone maki”, „Dziś do ciebie przyjść nie mogę”, „Nie noszą lampasów”, „Oka”, „Modlitwa obozowa”, „Wojenko, wojenko”.
Patriotic and military songs have been recorded by Ortodox Ordinariat of the Polish Army Choir „Oktoich” and the Instrumental Group of the Representative Orchestra of Silesian Military District and are now available for listening and download at the NSC’s webpage. Additionally, we have published cd’s cover for printing purposes and a songbook.
