Cameron and Duda condemn intolerance towards Poles

British PM David Cameron and Polish President Andrzej Duda Saturday condemned intolerance on nationality grounds against Poles living in Britain, informed Duda's chief aide Krzysztof Szczerski.

Krzysztof Szczerski said the Duda-Cameron talks on the second day of the NATO summit in Warsaw focused on the situation of Britain's Polish community in wake of Britain's decision to leave the EU.

Szczerski said that during the talks Duda "expressly" appealed for Britain to do what lay in its powers to curb incidents of intolerance against Poles. He added that both politicians condemned incidents of intolerance against Poles, with Cameron issuing a statement in the matter.

"There is unanimous disagreement to, and condemnation of, all acts of intolerance on nationality grounds, together with a statement by Prime Minister Cameron", Krzyszof Szczerski said.
