President Komorowski wants to resume the cooperation between the National Security Bureau of Poland and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

On 1 March 2014, President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski spoke with the acting President of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov. B. Komorowski had assured him of Polish support for and solidarity with Ukraine in the face of growing Russian pressure in Crimea.

B. Komorowski also condemned attempts at destabilising the political situation in Ukraine and voiced support for Ukrainian efforts to preserve territorial integrity. He described recent developments as a threat to stability of entire region.

President Komorowski also suggested to resume the cooperation between the National Security Bureau of Poland and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Mr Turchynov accepted this proposition and thanked Poland for the help given to Ukraine.
