The NSB visited by the delegation of the US Department of Defense
Wednesday, 2 May 2012. Head of the National Security Bureau Stanisław Koziej met with the delegation of the US Department of Defense headed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia Celeste A. Wallander, who was on her way to Moscow to participate in conference on the missile defense, scheduled to take place on 3-4 May.
The meeting had a consultative character and its purpose was to share the views on the conditions for implementing the missile defense program and the ramifications of building the system for the relations between NATO and Russia.
Taking place just before NATO summit in Chicago - the conference in Moscow dedicated to this important issue provides an opportunity to present the real, positive message about the initiative – particularly important for the security of the North Atlantic Alliance and Poland.
