Head of the NSB meets with Azerbaijani Ambassador in Poland
Thursday, 9 February 2012. Minister Stanisław Koziej met with Ambasador of Azerbaijan, Mr. Hasan Hasanov.
The first meeting of Minister Koziej and Ambassador Hasanov was dedicated to specifying areas of cooperation between the NSB and partner institutions in Azerbaijan.
The parties agreed that there is a need to revitalize security dialogue between Warsaw and Baku. Deepening relations in this field could be both practical and symbolic – in 2012 we will celebrate 20th anniversary of Polish-Azerbaijani diplomatic relations.
Minister and Ambassador agreed that the meetings of heads of our states - visit to Azerbaijan paid by President Bronisław Komorowski in July 2011, Eastern Partnership summit in Warsaw in September 2011 attended by President Ilham Aliyev and meeting of both presidents in Davos in January 2012 – that lately become so frequent confirm good atmosphere for Polish-Azeri cooperation.
