Head of the NSB meets with the advisor of the President of Estonia

Thursday, 10 November 2011. Minister Koziej met with the security advisor of the President of Estonia, Mr. Andres Vosman, who was accompanied by the defence attaché Colonel Albert Helme. The conversation concerned the regional security interests in the context of the future NATO summit in Chicago and the ways to strengthen Common Security and Defence Policy.

Mr. Vosman thanked for Polish contribution in the new Strategic Concept, including realignment of article 5 of the NATO Treaty mechanisms, as well as Polish participation in the Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tallin. The parties focused also on the perspectives of tightening biletaral security cooperation.

Mr. Vosman accompanied President Toomas Hendrik Ilves during his working visit to Poland; he was invited by the European Council on Foreign Relations. On 9 November President Komorowski met with the President of Estonia.
