Marie Yovanovitch visits the NSB
Wednesday, 14 September 2011. Minister Stanisław Koziej met with Marie L. Yovanovitch - Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, responsible for bilateral relations between the United States and North-Central European states.
The subjects discussed during the meeting included, among others, current Polish-US cooperation in the security field, future of the NATO mission in Afghanistan and plans of building missile defence system.
The parties also discussed rotations of the US air forces under the Permanent Air Detachment program, which are about to start in 2013.
A will to continue consultations on the most essential problems relating to international security and bilateral cooperation was expressed by both parties.
