Meeting under the Weimar Triangle formula

Tuesday, 13 September 2011. The Head of the NSB Stanisław Koziej met with the Secretary General of Defence and National Security of France, Mr. Francis Delon and the Secretary of the Federal Security Council of the Federal Republic of Germany, Brigadier-General Erich Vad.

During the meeting the parties discussed issues relating to the future of security policy in Europe. It was emphasised that the Weimer Triangle countries will strive to tighten the cooperation in order to further reform the Common Security and Defence Policy.

The parties confirmed their will to continue cooperation under this format. Future meetings will focus on missile defence, the NATO mission in Afghanistan and strategic security reviews in Poland, France and Germany.
