National Security Bureau is a body providing aid and support to the President of the Republic of Poland in executing security and defence tasks.

According to the regulations provided by the act, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces describes the organisation and scope of responsibilities of the National Security Bureau as well as appoints secretary of the state to assume the position of the head of the Bureau.
