Second meeting of NSC concerned the flood

Second meeting of National Security Council took place on Thursday 27 May in Belvedere residence. In accordance with the agenda, NSC member discussed flood issue in Poland.

NSC revised information given by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration concerning current flood situation in Poland, particularly in relation to removal of damages and reconstruction of infrastructure as well as aid and assistance to victims of the flood. Moreover, NSC was presented with preliminary drafts of „flood” regulations:  

  • on specific rules for preparing investments within flood structures;
  • on amending the act – Water law and on amending the act on town-and-country planning.
After discussion, drafts will be sent to parliamentary clubs in order to continua proceedings.
 
During the meeting, members of the Council also discussed conclusions regarding subjects of the future meetings of NSC.
 
Another meeting has been initially scheduled for 10th June.
