Invited by the Secretary of the Security Council, Head of the NSB visits Armenia

Invited by the Secretary of the Security Council Artur Bagdasarian, Head of the NSB paid two day (17-18 October) visit to the Republic of Armenia. During the first day minister Koziej met with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian and the Deputy Minister of Defence Ara Nazarian.

The parties discussed the Polish-Armenian relations, Poland’s support for the development of cooperation between Armenia and the EU and NATO as well as regional security. During the meetings the representatives of the Armenian party emphasised their support for the Eastern Partnership and recognised positively the results of July visit paid the President of Poland to Yerevan.

Moreover, Minister Koziej visited Ejmiatsin, the spirituals centre for Armenians.

The next day the Head of the NSB met with President Serzh Sargasyan, he also paid a visit to Tsitsernakaberd, a memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
