NSB holds a meeting regarding safety of planes carrying VIPs

Representatives of institutions responsible and involved in organisation of flights carrying state authorities and VIPs met in NSB’s office on Tuesday 11th May.

Series of meetings organised by the Head of NSB, Minister Stanisław Koziej regarding procedures and regulations relating to safety of VIP carrying aircrafts is one of the elements leading to completion of order given by Speaker of the Sejm Bronislaw Komorowski who is acting President.

A result shall be list of references that concern enhancing security of the most important persons in the country during the flights.
The following representatives participated in the meeting: Chancellery of the President, Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Sejm (lower chamber of the parliament) and Senat (higher chamber of the parliament), Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, Internal Security Agency, Government Protection Bureau and Military Counterintelligence Service.
 
Participants analysed binding procedures and rules, and discussed new regulations that should apply to that field.  
 
Previous meeting – with the representatives of Governmental Security Centre, Civil Aviation Centre, State Commission for Investigation of Air Accidents, Polish Air Navigations Services Agency and Emergency Ambulance Service – was held by NSB on 30th April.
 
Another meeting of experts is being scheduled.
 
Prepared proposals will be forwarded to the Speaker of the Sejm, and then presented during the meeting of Parliamentary Committee of National Defence, and later to media.
