Head of National Security Bureau - Stanisław Koziej

On Tuesday 13th April the Parliament Speaker Bronislaw Komorowski, who is now acting president, has appointed retired Brigadier-General professor Stanislaw Koziej as the new head of National Security Bureau.

Within the next few weeks NSB will be focusing on the following three areas:
1. Organisation and participation in the memorial and funeral ceremonies of the victims of Tu-154 M plane crash near Smolensk.
2. Completing current tasks related to the national security.
3. Preparing procedures related to the security of flights and planes carrying the highest state authorities.
 
Stanisław Koziej has replaced the late Minister Aleksander Szczyglo, who died on 10th April in Tu-154 M plane crash near Smoleńsk.
