"I think that just like the Polish community has once mobilised around the issue of Poland's NATO membership...it is worth to mobilise Polish forces around steps in favour of visa-free travel and in canvassing the support of the US Congress," the president said.

He added he was confident that thanks to a joint effort this goal could be achieved.

Bronislaw Komorowski recalled that during his previous visit to the US two years ago, President Barack Obama had promised to solve the visa problem and that this had also been the subject of his meetings with US Congressmen during his present visit to Chicago.
