The Polish president declared that he was meeting President Hollande to discuss how to strengthen the role of the Weimar Triangle of Poland, France and Germany on various levels, including the presidential one.

According to President Komorowski, this meeting will also focus on "prospects of common EU security and defence policy".

President Komorowski declared in an interview for PAP and IAR that during a meeting with President Yanukvych he wanted to discuss the risk Ukraine is taking by waving to date achievements in the integration with the EU, caused by the situation of former Ukrainian PM Yulia Tymoshenko.

The Polish president said he was taking about the already negotiated agreements on Ukraine's association with the EU and free trade zone with the EU.

"This talk will surely focus on this risk...", President Komorowski said and added he was looking at Tymoshenko's case as "a source of threat to Ukraine's European bid".

"And this is a source of concern for Poland as Poland has always supported Ukraine's integration with the West," the Polish president said.

"We should support Ukraine on its road to the western world and we are doing this, but a key to success is in the hands of Ukraine," President Komorowski said.

The Polish president added that Ukraine's was facing a great challenge of a necessary reform of the Ukrainian law and judiciary system.
