President pays visit to Polish soldiers in Kosovo
Poland will never shun co-responsibility for security in our region of Europe, said President Bronislaw Komorowski addressing Polish soldiers stationed in Kosovo on Monday. President was accompanied by the Head of the National Security Bureau.
"Poland is a free country and wants freedom and security for others," he added.
The president arrived in Pristina to convey Easter greetings to the soldiers serving in KFOR mission and policemen serving in EULEX mission in Kosovo.
He was accompanied by defense minister Tomasz Siemoniak, chief of the general staff General Mieczyslaw Cieniuch, deputy interior minister Michal Deskur, national police chief Marek Dzialoszynski, and commander of the land forces Zbigniew Glowienka.
The Polish contingent in KFOR numbers 220 men while the Polish contingent in EULEX is 120 strong.
