Train crash in southern Poland

Saturday, 3 March 2012. Two trains collided in southern Poland late evening on Saturday, killing 16 and injuring more than 50 people in one of the worst train disasters in years.

Both trains were travelling with a high speed on the same track when they collided. President Bronisław Komorowski announced the 5 and 6 March the national mourning days to commemorate the victims of the train crash near Szczekociny.
