CAPSTONE students visit the NSB
The Deputy Head of the NSB Zdzisław Lachowski, PhD met with the group of students of CAPSTONE course who came from Washington DC.
During the visit the students learned about the structure and functioning of the NSB. They also familiarized with the scopes of responsibilities of some of the departments and tasks they currently execute.
The meeting involved also discussion concerning cyber security, cooperation between NATO and the UE as well as Polish priorities for the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
This year the group that visited the Bureau consisted of 16 persons – newly appointed generals and their civil counterparts. They were assisted by the representatives of the US Embassy in Poland.
Delegation came to Poland for 4 days (11-15 May). The aim of their trip is to familiarize with the region, especially with the defense policy.
